Though Florida State has changed considerably since its first comprehensive campaign, Investment in Learning, launched in 1991, the University’s core values have remained intact.
These values are best represented by the University’s three-torch seal, out of which grew the flame of inspiration for Raise the Torch: The Campaign for Florida State.

Raise the Torch: The Campaign for Florida State is the most ambitious fundraising campaign in University history.
With a goal of more than $1 billion, Raise the Torch seeks to implement bold ideas that will continue to distinguish Florida State as a preeminent university and positively affect the future for students, faculty and alumni.

Raise the Torch: The Campaign for Florida State, will allow our University to improve the student experience, serve as an economic engine for the state through research and job creation and improve the quality of life for society as a whole through the production and dissemination of knowledge and ideas that will benefit all of us.

Yes, your donation can go directly to your preferred college or fund, or you may choose to support an important campaign fundraising priority, such as the Champions Campaign.
